Hi Everyone and welcome to WingChun.Online and our 10-1 Club.

My name is Colin Ward (Sifu), senior western student to GM Ip Chun (Ip Man’s eldest son) and disciple to the Master since 1991.

I started my training in 1982 and opened my school in 1991 on Master Ip Chun’s request, a school which is still running strong today.

WingChun.Online was created around 2010 as a way of continuing teaching, sharing and promoting Ip Chun Wing Chun, a site and an idea which has 100% Sifu’s blessing, from the day the project was presented to him, to now, even as he approaches 100 years old!

I am SO excited about this challenge as it is something I have wanted to do for decades, in fact from the first moment I realised how fast Wing Chun punches can actually be.

Thank you all for joining us on this journey, the first of our campaigns together, I say this as I am sure (he says hopefully), that this will not be just a one-off.

Please share your experiences with us, let us know how you are getting along, if you are losing weight, feeling faster, feeling stronger, and so on, but do remember, this is to be a long journey, it is not a race, so go steady and gradually build up.

If for any reason you decide that the 10-1 challenge is proving a little tricky for you, NO PROBLEM!

Try the ’20-1′ approach, half the amount of daily punches and expand your time frame instead, whichever way you do it, how cool is it going to be to say that you did it…

    1,000,000 PUNCHES!

Hi Sifu… Or should I say Sigung..

I have been training Wing Chun since October of last year under your Student (my sifu)Rik at Huddersfield.
I’ve been obsessed with everything about WingChun since the day I started and I’m also a member of wingchun.online to supplement my in person training.

This sounds like a fun challenge and something to be proud of once its over so I’m going to give it a go and spread the word at class to others 🙂

    Hey all! Greetings from Australia.

I’ve been studying with Wingchun Online now for about 2 years, and am currently studying a Bachelor of Chinese Medicine.

Looking forward to the 10-1 challenge!

    Dear Sifu Colin Ward,

My name is Valmir Junior, and I have been practicing Wing Chun since 2004, following the Brazilian lineage of Sifu Marco Natali. Although I have trained for many years and taught at some of the biggest academies in Belém do Pará, my master’s school was never formalized.

In my quest to enhance my knowledge and techniques, I was searching for a new affiliation that would provide me with the opportunity to further evolve. That’s when I came across wingchun.online and discovered the content presented by Master Colin Ward. I am thrilled to have found this platform, which seems to offer an environment conducive to my growth as a Wing Chun practitioner.

Unfortunately, at the moment, I do not have the possibility to visit you in England, but it is my sincere desire to meet Master Ward someday if that becomes possible. In the meantime, I am taking the opportunity to relearn my English, a skill that I haven’t practiced for years. I believe that fluency in the language will also prove valuable in advancing my studies in Wing Chun.

Thank you in advance for your attention and the inspiration this platform provides. I am eager to continue learning, whether through the forum or, perhaps, in a future encounter with Master Ward.

    Best regards,
    Valmir Junior
