Week 1 down and I’ve given myself a head start with 120,000 done. 👊

Tonight’s was the easiest so far, hopefully my shoulders are getting used to it. 😃🤞

@Blam, no kidding! Throughout week 1 I was getting concerned that I wouldn’t make it.

Now as I start week 2, I am feeling a lot more comfortable!

Has anyone timed themselves? What are the average times to run off 1,009?

Great idea Blam, just be careful not to pull a muscle, rest days are good my friend.

Hmm… I still have another 2 days before I hit this goal. I just haven’t been able to hit 20,000 per day yet! 😞

I have done 6,000 today so far! 🎉

Will check back tomorrow eve. hopefully joining the 400,000 club!

    Sunday, May 28 – 400,000 👍🏻

This was a rough week. I’m not sure why? While away on holiday I took some liberty to do my punches in different environments.

    • I did several thousand in a pool. • Several thousand facing the strong wind (ocean side).
    • I did several thousand on different surfaces. Some on the beach, some on uneven surfaces.
    • I even did some on one foot.

Overall I’d say it was quite a challenge.

Assessing… I’d say I’m trying to break a plateau now, trying to increase speed, stamina, etc. I’m also still trying to find ways to count that helps to find and ease my the rhythm.

Well, 600,000 to go so think I stall have time to work it out.

Honestly, it’s hard to imagine that once the challenge ends, I would not continue doing this daily. 🤔

Whoooooah, we’re halfway way there….whoah oh punching in the air!

That’s 500k down! Also, sometimes doing 500 in 50seconds now which I guess is the whole point in doing all of these! Not consistently yet but they are definitely speeding up.

    Bring on the 2nd half!

    500,000 👊😀

Still haven’t managed to switch off all the excess tension but I’m definitely speeding up and making endurance is a lot better than when I started. 🙂

Just checking in to see how everybody is doing?

Well passed the half way point now and heading down the other side of the hill, but there’s still a lot to do, so keep addressing this one day at a time, one set at a time, and keep injury free.

Before you know it this will all be over and you will feel awesome (and hopefully unable to stop punching).

So stay in the moment and enjoy the ride all!

    Great job everyone!

Getting close to 700k – just finished my morning 10k (660k total) and later this afternoon will do the second half. Looking forward to the next week:)
Few things I’ve noticed. Keeping chest up and open helps enormously. I know it sounds obvious but what a difference. I was getting a bit tired previously and once I’ve corrected it the performance improved.
Overall it’s a great routine and it became a solid part of the day. Found myself eating less crappy food because a day after I would feel not the greatest while pushing 20k.

    Well… that marks 700,000!

    I cannot believe it!

Welcome to “crazytown”. 😀 At least that’s what all of our partners and students here say (with a laugh).

I started adding biu mar stepping, some Sarm bok Mar and even some single leg.

I actually did all 15,000 today continuous. I think I have finally learned to relax.

… and it only too 700,000 punches to do so! 😀
